Innovation is wonderful thing and its crucial if we are to reduce the impact humans are having on this planet.
That’s why it’s wonderful to hear the news that Germany have created a hydrogen-powered train that ONLY emits water vapor.
The train is called “Coradia iLint” and can travel up to 87 MPH with a maximum distance of 500 miles per day.
This revolutionary train was developed in just two years, thanks to collaboration between experts, customers and workers who were willing to do what’s necessary for the future of transportation.
Transportation is one of the biggest sources of greenhouse gas emissions, so this is a crucial step forward for a country that has 4,000 diesel trains.
After these trains have been proven successful, hopefully more will be created so we can do what’s right for the future of our planet.
Great work Alstom! Watch the fascinating video to learn about this zero-emission train and what it could mean for our future.
