Winter is on the way and you know what that means: It’s incredibly hard to get out of bed and get shit done!
However, laying in bed won’t bring you fulfillment (or maybe it will sometimes) but it won’t last and you won’t get anything done.
If you want to have a productive and awesome day, even in the cold, here are 11 things you can do to boost your happiness:
1. Be kind to someone
When most people think of happiness, they tend to think of themselves. But in reality, one of the best ways to boost your own wellbeing is to do something kind for someone during the day. It will make you feel good about yourself and improve your karma rating.
2. Turnoff from technology.
We are distracted by our phones and gadgets nearly all day, but see what happens when you turn it all off. You’ll feel a sense of peace and calm.
3. Put on your favorite music.
Everyone has their music that gets their juices flowing. Put it on, dance it to and forget about all the worries you’ve ever had.
4. Eat breakfast like a champion.
Breakfast IS the most important meal of the day. It gives you the energy you need to achieve greatness throughout the day.
5. Do one small thing every day to reach your big goals.
One of the best ways to achieve your big goals is to chip away at it. Make sure you do something each day that leads you to your big goal. By the end of the year, you won’t believe the progress you’ve made.
6. Focus on positive self-talk.
Try to find one thing you like about yourself. Eventually, you’ll reframe your mind to be more positive.
7. Think of one thing to be grateful for.
Counting our blessings can have an extraordinary impact on our lives. Celebrate your life and be thankful for the wonderful opportunities given to you.
Even if it’s a for a few minutes, meditation will calm you down and relax your mind.
9. Don’t complain.
Watch your words, they can have an impact on your attitude. And no one likes a complainer!
10. Don’t judge.
Judging is for lazy people, and it doesn’t really help anyone. Understand that everyone has their own shit to deal with and try to find something positive about each person.
11. Wear what makes you feel good.
Who says clothes can’t change your mood? They can and you should wear whatever makes you feel sexy, cool and on point!
