What do you look for in a life partner? Wouldn’t having someone with whom you can work as well as laugh together be great? And it seems it is not as impossible to find someone like that. At least, Andreas and Mac Håndlykken seem to have found this sweet marital bliss. And they are happy to share their life’s troubles and laughter with us.
The illustrator duo convert s their everyday misadventures into these truly side-splitting webcomics that can make anyone’s day. They don’t let problems come in their way and instead, Mac converts them into cartoons which Andreas then colors. And thus together, they laugh about their problems instead of letting them cause further problems. Talk about a dream team.
Here are a few examples of their hilarious take on a couple’s everyday problems.
1. The relationship between men and their facial hair is unique indeed. And in most cases it is better than this relationship is not disturbed, at all.
2. Everything becomes better when you have a lively imagination. Even every day, boring chores. However, it can get a bit awkward if your neighbors don’t share the same creativity.
3. So many socks have been lost to the washing machine void since God knows when. Apparently, there is a creature in that void for whom single socks are his ‘precious’.
4. Well, you gotta do what you gotta do. And when you absolutely crave hot sauce, what is a little incident such as the insides of your mouth burning away. Your taste buds will recover, right?
5. Social media can be full of sass indeed. But the bright light of your mobile screens first thing in the morning can give a pretty good burn as well.
6. For everyone who scoffs at people who fear spiders, we have only one piece of advice for you. Remember people thought Ron Weasley’s fear was illogical too.
7. Ever woke up horribly late for work, rushing through your morning rituals only to realize it was all a dream and you still have time for some shut-eye. Even better when you see these dreams on Sundays and can simply go back to sleeping as long as you like.
8. Who doesn’t like cats? In fact, we love them so much that we never complain about having their hair stuck on every item of clothing we own, hairballs in unexpected places and so on.
9. Talking of pets, isn’t it annoying when the cute pooch you saw on your way to work has the rudest owner.
10. I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again. If doing chores built muscle density, I’d be the hulk.
11. If only you could leave your hyperactive imagination to doing household and not bring it with you while on a vacation.
12. The pain of hurting your toes on furniture corners is eternal. It is plausible that all they do is conspire against us.
