Each and everyone of us that is constantly trying to have a healthy diet, has been avoiding sugar by replacing it with other “sugar free“, artificial sweetners and cave sugars options. It seems that our desire to load up with sugar’s substitutes regularly may not be the cheeky reward-cum-energy and non-harmful boost we think it is.
It is true, that last year’s researches came to the conclusion, that more than 1.9 billion adults around the world, are overweight and 600 millions of them suffer from obesity. This is, at least, worrying for our modern lifestyle and our lack of education as far as healthy diets are concerned.
However, there is a question that comes spontaneously in everyone’s mind: is this our fault or have we been misdirected? Is the obesity doubled these last 25 years due to our ignorance or because of the misinformation that advertisements and wrong health advice provide?
