As a physicist this article is one of the most terribly written and misleading pieces of pseudoscience I have ever come across. Go find any credible source on Quantum Mechanics and it will tell you what’s actually going on, but it has nothing to do with consciousness or the soul.
Also, Everett’s many worlds interpretation says nothing about parallel universes, that’s a common misconception. Seriously, look it up.

  2. Kevin Fisher says:

okay then you go ahead and explain it for us, if your so smart. plz id love to hear it. Really

  3. Jonah Winters says:

Quantum mechanics is the science of the very small: the body of scientific principles that explains the behaviour of matter and its interactions with energy on the scale of atoms andsubatomic particles.

Classical physics explains matter and energy on a scale familiar to human experience, including the behaviour of astronomical bodies. It remains the key to measurement for much of modern science and technology. However, toward the end of the 19th century, scientists discovered phenomena in both the large (macro) and the small (micro) worlds that classical physics could not explain. Coming to terms with these limitations led to two major revolutions in physics – one being the theory of relativity, the other being the development of quantum mechanics. This article describes how physicists discovered the limitations of classical physics and developed the main concepts of the quantum theory that replaced it in the early decades of the 20th century. These concepts are described in roughly the order in which they were first discovered; for a more complete history of the subject, see History of quantum mechanics. That’s what wiki have to inform you Sam 😉

  4. Tony Murray says:

Your Consciousness will not Move To Another Universe After Death if you remain contracted in your awareness, which, of course is what put us here in the first place.

  5. Danny Hayes says:

I find this piece to be an interesting
theory and good to see that some sections of the science community
are looking out side the square. I find it interesting how the doom
sayers of this article instantly fall back to proven science where I
find the theory intriguing however I am not convinced nor am I about
    to condemn it.

  6. steve says:

so where did my consciousness go, for about half an hour, when i was knocked out by a strip club bouncer after not paying extra money for a bj

  7. Rhys Maclean says:

Sam. I respect your academic knowledge and understanding. I freely highlight my own relative lack of both. That being said I am an intelligent person and have nurtured an amateur understanding of physics, quantum physics, biology and my own personal spirituality over the course of nearly half a century.
The two hole experiment clearly and definitively illustrates the effect of consciousness upon quantum physics and that there is inarguably a connection between the observer and the observed.
That that consciousness effects the universe at large is no longer up for debate.
    Kind regards.

  8. Rhys Maclean says:

Informitive, concise and accurate – Well said, Jonah.

  9. Sara Robertson says:

this is very interesting but theories can not necessarily prove anything but just lead on to further theories.. experiments and many of them lead to proving that something is accurate and reliable. this is interesting but is not “proving” anything

  10. Evilgal says:

What a load of crud. Using words from science doesn’t make what you write science, it makes it garbled nonsense.

  11. calabiyau says:

Consciousness doesn’t collapse wavefunctions. Any old interaction will do.

  12. Guest says:

such as simply an automated measurement? Yes, I see your point, Calabiyau. Your quite right. Thanks for the correction.

  13. andrew says:

i just love to see how same thing is being interpreted in different ways. Even though i am an agnostic about belief in god, I think it’s already mention about afterlife in almost all holly books of any religion. If really something is hidden inside quantum level about afterlife, why don’t we try to make some kind of filter and amplifier to measure and observe what actually that consciousnes is ?

  14. Agree to you Sir James W Smith!!
But thn thn modern day physics is all based on this theory only

  15. In India they know about it a long time ago……..

  16. Troy Davis says:

Proven with a Theory is kind of a Paradox lol but iv always loved them XD

  17. Elmo Zappa says:

Might move to a different state that we won’t experience til we get there ourselves- but an entirely different universe? So consciousness leaves our body, travels through the universe we are in… then “Next Stop, universe #2” ??? Acid must be awesome stuff, one day I’ll check it out. Oh yeah. A theory is pretty much one part fact one part guess. Shake it up, and it could still be bullshit. Didnt even open this one, not that interested!

  18. I know for a fact that Astro projection exists

  19. Universe with a lot of babbling idiots

  20. Maleko Paulo says:

    I hope the weather’s nice.

  21. Mary Roberts says:

It true we all have a soul it moves on are body is in the ground it’s called recarnation

  22. Carmine33 says:

There is one consciousness, but it has a major split personality condition called creation.

  23. Jim Van HoRn says:

So many quasi-intelligent people on here talking about an infinitely incomprehensible UNIVERSE that NO one understands. Allot of assertions and theories and jibber-jabber…..only the UNIVERSE knows for sure.
