Why The Older You Get, The More You Hate Everyone (And Why That’s OK)

The Older You Get

  1. I find that the older I get, the more lenient I am about others. I have too much to answer for to be hateful about others. I don’t have the time or the energy for hate and I wonder how anyone else does.

  2. No, I find it the opposite for I find instead of hating them more; I love myself more and love them back and let others go without hate with the understandingness that they are under different consciousness than I am.

  3. I can relate to this article..the older i get the less bullshit i am willing to tolerate also, also making friends is not even near my number one priority and yeah the reciprocation thing, if it’s me giving 80% and them giving 20% they have to go, a lot of people are takers and bask in your attention, i am no one’s audience, so yep they go. I also relate to the part about loving yourself instead, pleasing yourself rather than others and improving yourself.

  4. I disagree with you. Being old(82) I would know better about that than a lot of people. I have always liked people. And there have always been a few I did not like. But for the most part I am still like that. You really have to do something to make me dislike you.

Sophie Parker omg so us girl

  6. hate is a strong word, and the individual who wrote the article is only ‘a quarter of a century old’…so they actually don’t really have a lot of ‘time’ under their belt yet to make such ‘permanent’ decisions about what happens as you get older…it just sounds like an individuals experience at this point in their short journey of life thus far…too bad it’s so jaded already…they are pretty young really 🙁

I would comment, but I’m only replying to myself these days.
