Photos that capture the most tragically human suffering and the level of destruction in Gaza
Nearly 100 people have lost their lives in Gaza so far and 670 have been injured by Israeli forces, while Hamas replies, launching more than 500 rockets towards Israeli territory.
Unfortunately, most of the victims are ordinary citizens, while large is the list of names of children who have been killed during the fighting.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, among the dead included at least 21 children, all under 16 years old, whose names were published on Friday in the newspaper Al-Akhbar.
And all this while intensifying worries for the possibility of ground war by the Israeli army in Gaza, with the armed forces have been called to arms 30,000 reservists, by the threshold of 40,000 that has allowed the cabinet. Speaking to CNN, the Israeli government spokesman said the army units have been deployed in their seats and are ready for every eventuality.
