I’m 16 . I think I am an old soul, I have a different view on life compare to others who are at my age line. I love poetry and I also love to collect quotations and reflect them on real life. sometimes people use to tell me that I am too deep and I should not take things too seriously, I feel alone sometimes, yes I love to be alone most of the time, but the loneliness comes from being misunderstood from people. I sometimes ask myself why I act this way or should I change. I don’t know ,this happens to me often, asking myself. I am confuse.

  2. i dont know if im an old soul, but i know that i know things or im aware of things normal people dont even notice,
they even ask me where i got my knowledge from. but i dont know.
its like i got an encyclopedia in my head
i think about things that nobody does,
for instance: they say the galaxy is moving appart, how is it possible that we are on a collision course with andromeda, shouldnt it move away from us

I have heard this too many times to discount it. I was the kid who sat on the side observing, the ‘quiet one’ while my age-peers ran about the schoolyard wildly. I doubt I was lazy, it was just more interesting for me to watch people’s interactions. I was the teenager with alot of ADULT friends. There is an older relative who has said she “has always thought of (me) as an adult.” Whatever the case, I have always felt alot older than the peers I was with.

It’s like you describe how I feel right now… I am 16 too… I love poetry, quotations, and I am really
introspective. My friends and family members say that I have to relax, and “be young” like my classmates. But I just can’t. Μy bedroom is my paradise and I am all alone 90 % of the time. People think I am weird, or pretentious and, generally, they avoid me. I have only one really close friend I can be myself with.

Despite all that, though, I don’t want to change. I would like, of course, to be less lonely and have more friends, but the fact that I am an “old soul” has offered me a different perspective of myself, the world and others… It’s totally ok to be confused. I am too, and I think almost everyone is. Just let things be. Just let yourself be real. 🙂

This explains so much of what I have felt my whole life, always a loner always listening and watching, I have have no desire to gather things, rather I search for spiritual growth.

I am 57 at this point in my current life. At the age of 11, I had a Near Death Experience and briefly saw the “other” aide…again. I returned to human form so quickly after my most recent past life that I had/have recollect, especially in dreams, which were both frightening and sad. I was a victim of the Holocaust. My son, at the age of 4, once said to me…”Mom,.do you know why I wanted you to come back so fast to be my Mommy?…Because when I am a man you are going to help me do something important.” Mouths of babes and just extra support of what I already knew… ! 🙂

  7. Mary Ann Joyce Thornton says:

I wonder if people who have ADD like I do have a different soul age than their body? I always feel like I’m from somewhere else. Like the time period I live in is to extreme for me. I long to beable to live in a little cottage with a little garden, a firepit, and live out the rest of my days with my cat and a few friends. I’m only 23 but I KNOW this is what I need.

  8. Deus Deceit says:

Have you considered the fact that The Universe expands slower than we move towards Andromeda? Didn’t know what you just said… just food for thought. It’s nice to know stuff. It’s better to “ACTUALLY KNOW” than “half know” tho. Knowing half the story is worse than never knowing that the story exists.

  9. Plby says:

The greatest thing is that you were told in advance. You should enjoy every minute with your son, you never know how small the important thing maybe. He would just have to be at the right place at the right time to change history.

  10. Plby says:

I can remember swinging on my swing set had to be about 6 years old. Thinking that something isn’t right I shouldn’t be here. That this world as it was then was the wrong place for me to be. Big thoughts for a 6 year old
